I picked up a "free" riding mower... and it ended up costing me $255 before it ever cut a single blade of grass. New battery, two new tires with inner tubes, oil change, carb clean , got it running perfect. Then I let my buddy take a turn, and ten minutes later he hit a stick and snapped the blade clean off.
Some days you just can't win. Full story below, and this saga isn't over, I'll be picking up a new blade and getting this thing running again soon.
