Cutting a long story short I ended up buying this Intelligent amp and decided to create a guitar amp review it. After all the idea sounded well, interesting to say the least. So off I went and took a closer look.
There's no insides shown on this review as I would have had to damage the unit to get inside and frankly it was not worth the effort.
But I do show in this real 'paid for' amp review exactly what I found - the good and the bad. While its a 'reasonable' guitar practice amplifier I did find the AI rather different and quite not hat was suggested.
There are sounds in the amp though, along with effects and even a drum machine so it might be a useful amplifier for some guitarists. But not for me.
I did give a score on this MOOER guitar amp too and that's in the close up review.
Thinking about AI I really came up with the 'Artificial Incompetence' thought and did apply that to this device - for me the AI was a bit of a gimmick it seemed. In fact the Hendrix tone was so bad I deleted it!
Lastly, I paid over the odds at for this electric guitar amp from Mooer Audio at Andertons for this at £238.37 while at Thomann it was £175.00 so clearly Andertons somehow got their sell price very wrong. Always check yours won't you.
