I spent 100 hours in the Geometry Dash editor, working on my easy demon (Glorious Fortress). A video inspired by Luke Thenotable and others' Minecraft 100 day videos. This one was wild to make, but I'm glad it's finally here... seriously this was an undertaking lol. Still gotta make the other 2 episodes............
This video is dedicated to my inspirations:
-Luke Thenotable (obviously). The tips I scavenged from his channel helped a lot too.
-Zylenox and Samifying. We see primarily 1 kind of creating content in this game, all more or less in the format Lemons pioneered. I tried to take inspiration from creators who did something a little bit different with their content. (Zylenox has since made all his creating videos unavailable, but there were some things I remembered about them that I really wanted to pull from. For one, his unusual reserved commentary, but I probably took more inspiration from Samifying on that front. There's Also the fact that Zy always focused more on the entertainment of his video than explaining every little thing he did, more telling stories and making jokes. Then again, I can't go into much detail anyway with recapping a whole 100 hours of work lmao.
-Dani. Someone who took a niche type of content (game dev content) and made it digestible to a larger audience. I wanted to do something similar with creating content, all be it in a different way... anyway I still have a ways to go with breaking out of the mold lol.
All in all, is this video everything I could have wanted? no. I'll try to improve future episodes. I spent a really long time on this tho and I really tried my best to make something good with this idea. It was damn hard to figure out how to make this work, and I'd say I'm proud of the result.

(btw the mod I use for the hours is called "Better Info". This game tracks your time in editor, it just doesn't show it anywhere by default)
