Ok so... this isn't what I thought what my next video was going to be like... but as I mentioned in the video, I got caught in a down pour when I landed in Atlanta after my work travel. The small travel sized umbrella did really nothing to protect me from the rain (I was glad I had some coverage because it was probably one of the worst weathers I've ever seen living here the past 20 years), so naturally, my Marlo 14 ALSO got a lot of rain.
I managed to protect only a part of it with my arm, but there was no way I could keep it dry.
So... thought to let you know how my bag looks like after being DRENCHED in rain. Not just sprinkles of rain but DRENCHED.
It does show water stains, but having dealt with Louis Vuitton vachetta, I'm just glad it wasn't all vachetta bag LOL.
I 'm a little annoyed that this happened but I really enjoyed carrying my Marlo 14. I do wish that I grabbed a big reusable plastic bag from home so I could protect the bag, but what am I going to do, go back in time? lol such is life.
Hope you find this video helpful if you are also considering Marlo 14. IF you think this is unacceptable wear after it being completely drenched in rain, then you may want to consider either the grained leather or possibly in black where the wear won't show as much.
I personally don't think it's that terrible given that the whole side was soaked in rain.
