Costuming Drama | I Sewed the Cutest Bonnet! | 18th Century Yorktown Bonnet Bonnet Pattern Test @Costuming_Drama | Uploaded February 2023 | Updated October 2024, 16 hours ago.
Hello Friends! This week, we are pattern testing the Yorktown Bonnet, a 18th - early 19th century Bonnet by Penny River Costumes and GoodWivesLinens. The pattern says it is for 1860 through 1900, but I'm pretty sure you can push it into regency a smidge! This pattern was super thorough, and really easy to put together! There are instructions for historical and modern methods of putting it together as well as easier and harder ways of construction. They give you multiple ways to decorate and pleat this hat and it's all very clear when you make it! I would say this would be very beginner hat-making friendly! Do click the link and get yourself a copy of this very common bonnet, it comes highly recommended!
