This morning, Amtrak launched their brand-new Acela II trainsets on the Northeast Corridor, the fastest and most modern trains to ever operate in revenue service on this side of the Atlantic. But in fairness, the bar for those two things is pretty low. So how much of an improvement are the Avelia Liberty trains, really? The only way to find out is to go for a ride!
