The Unexpected Gypsy | I REALLY DON'T LIKE MY ART! Making really bad art all week, the creative flow and work-life balance. @theunexpectedgypsy | Uploaded April 2021 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
I can't seem to paint this week, just spent the week making really bad art! This is the real story of what the creative flow can look like and for me, this is a regular thing! I want to improve my art skills and push myself forwards but at the same time, if it's all going wrong it just makes me frustrated and to be truthful, sometimes give up altogether. It's definitely not a comfortable process when you go through times when you really don't like your art... But, I know this is normal, for me anyway and so I forge onwards on the days I can.... Two days this week though I simply stayed home and went quiet and that has been so good for me. I'm getting really good at listening to my body and acting upon that.
Thanks so much for watching and all the lovely comments and connections.
Love & big soft virtual hugs, Wendy Xx
