Hi everyone! Today I wanted to talk about my experience of reading Gardens of the Moon, the first book in the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson, for the first time. Now, I'm not saying this book is easy by any means, but I will say I was pleasantly surprised that it's not the incomprehensible tome a lot of people make it out to be. I do acknowledge that I am at the start of a journey that will take years and years to finish, so I am sure I have gotten some things wrong, but I hope more people will pick up this series after hearing from a fellow newbie that it's a great read and things do make sense in this first book! I hope you enjoyed this review and that it helped you decide whether or not this book is for you.
