I proposed to my girlfriend (now wife) with a Pokemon Sapphire mod since that's her favourite game! It was my first time modding so it was a challenge, but it worked out in the end. The resources on the HMA discord were a lifesaver.

I wanted to do it near where we had our first date but I figured that would make it hard to focus on the mod. So in the end I recreated a similar-looking area in-game.
