I recently had the extraordinary opportunity to play a historical wargame using some genuine pieces of wargaming history, including nearly 70 year old Spencer Smith miniatures with an incredible hobby pedigree. Join me in Brighton as I spend the day with Henry Hyde in the famous Loftwaffe, exploring his Imaginations campaign and playing Shot, Steel & Stone. From classic 30mm plastic figures and the history of Spencer Smith Miniatures to the ongoing battle between Grenouisse and Borgenmark, this was far more than just another game of toy soldiers. It was a chance to experience the history of our hobby first hand, and to put some remarkable old miniatures back into active service on the tabletop.
