π Insane Moon Close-Up at 11,160mm! | Pentax Q-S1 + Sigma 150-600mm + Dual 2x Teleconverters
Last night, from just outside my hometown in Worcestershire, UK, I captured the Moon like never before β using a Pentax Q-S1 with a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens and two 2x teleconverters. Thatβs right β an effective focal length of around 11,160mm!
Despite urban light pollution, wind and cloud and a tiny sensor,, the image and video quality surprised me in the best way. In this video, Iβll show you the full setup, explain how I got it to work, and share the results in stills and video. Iβve also included a diagram to help visualise just how zoomed-in this rig really is!
