Peggy fondly remembers the moment she met her love David Barbour, “The first time I heard him play, that was it. I fell in love with his music before I turned around and saw how handsome he was. It was really love at first site,” she said. “And it took me quite a while to catch him – a couple of months. Benny had a rule that the musicians could not fraternize with the girl singer, and that was easy enough to follow except when David came into the picture...that was totally different.” 😉
