Let's be really honest about how "marriage" is lived out in the Bible before we then say that people should be living out "biblical marriages" today, shall we? Abraham has one woman/wife but has s*x with their enslaved person, Hagar; at least one of Abraham's ancestors had as many as five "wives"; Abraham's brother Nahor marries their niece, Milcah; Isaac marries his cousin, Rebekah; Jacob, Abraham's grandson, has two "wives," who happen to be cousins of his, and has s*x with the two enslaved people in his home.
