Welcome to the very first episode of Tech Friday! Every Friday alongside our usual VR/XR content, we're diving into whatever tech hobby I happen to be working on — and this week it's giving a broken Xbox 360 a brand new life. The disc drive wouldn't open without a punch, so naturally the solution was to jailbreak it instead.
We're using ABadAvatar — a fully software-only Xbox 360 exploit that requires zero soldering, zero disc, and just a USB stick. We walk through the whole process live, mistakes and all, and end up with a fully jailbroken console running Aurora dashboard and Midnight Club: Los Angeles — no disc required.
