What's this?! :O Another *very late* birthday video?! Yep! :3
This one is for my Pokeshipping Pal Corina! Corina you are such a kind and caring person who always has a nice thing to say about everyone! You have such a cheerful attitude which always makes you a pleasure to talk to! (Speaking of which I need to start talking to you more! I miss you girl! ;-;) I love how we can spazz over each other's Pokemon videos, but still talk about some real life stuff too. You are also such a great studio leader! You're very supportive and patient with everyone which really boosts the group's morale and make it feel like a big family! I've had a lot of fun being a part of Blown Dust Studios and I'm sure there's a lot more good times ahead! Thank you for being such a great friend and studio leader! ^^
And again sorry for the lateness! ;-; I really tried to finish sooner, but I was so busy with finals and papers plus there's been a lot of family drama going on so I just haven't had much time or desire to edit. I still hope you like it! :)

I hope this video came out ok. I'm a little concerned about the timing because I had it PERFECT when I first went to upload it on Youtube then Youtube was like "Nope! This video is under copyright so we're blocking it! Mwahahaha!" }:D And I was like "Crap." -.- So I had to pitch it but then that really messed up the timing and made the audio much quicker than the video so I had to redo the beat matching as best as I could, but it still seemed to be a bit off in places. But I really wanted it to get uploaded today because I'll be on a camping trip all weekend and I'm not sure how much time I'll have during the week to work on it.
Also I've noticed my most popular videos seem to be with candy(ish) editing like this, but I really don't think I'm very good with this style. ^^' To me a lot of the effects look out of place or overdone so if there's something you like or don't like about my candy editing (or editing style in general) please let me know so I can improve on it and maybe start editing with it a bit more. :)

So this category was tougher (for me at least) than all the other ones cuz we had to come up with a story and a video to match. Luckily my brillant collab partner, Alice, came up with this:

Conan: I heard wind that the BO is participating in another trade on the ship
Heiji: Leave that to me, I will work that out
Conan is afraid that Ai might do something reckless and locked her in the basement.
He dressed up as her so Vermouth would recognisze as a traitor. He confronted her single-handed but as the FBI got there, he was held hostage. As the FBI confronted Vermouth, Conan got shot and died. The BO is captured though.
Ai moans in agony, At what cost it is, Kudo-kun, your life is so much more valuble than taking them down...

So...yeah...Im hosting another MEP. :3 But instead of hosting the tradition CYP (choose your part) MEP I decided to host a MEP where everyone can choose their own song to edit with. That way if someone has to drop out, it wouldnt be a huge deal. And as you can probably tell from the title it will be a Detective Conan only MEP! :D
Last year I noticed a lot of people making AMVs for Shinichis birthday (May 4th) so this year I thought it might be fun to do something a little different and bring a bunch of Detective Conan editors together for one giant birthday MEP! :D The couples can be ShinichixRan, ConanxAi, ShinichixHeiji, pretty much any pairing as long as it has Shinichi or Conan in it. xD Or it could be a video with just Shinichi/Conan. Either one is just fine.
Rules~
-Send me your part in a PM or video response
-Any program except One True Media is allowed
-AMVs and MMVs are ok, but no slideshows
-Watermarks are ok, but they cannot distract too much from the video
-Parts can be 0:20-1:20 long
-Must have either Shinichi and/or Conan in them
-Yaoi is allowed
-No more than 2 people doing the same song

Sorry for the lack of creativity with this one. Ive been working/babysitting almost everyday these past couple weeks so Ive hardly had anytime to work on it, but I had to get it up today since Ill be on vacation for the next 2 weeks and wont be able to get it done by the dealine. I tried to work on mostly beat matching and trying to find clips that fit the mood of the song cuz the lyrics in english made no sense xD
Also Alice could you put the full collab together? I just didnt have time. Im literally going to be leaving in 2 hours.

Happy Birthday to one of the greatest people I have ever known! In honor of your big day I decided to create a video with one of our favorite pairings with one of our favorite songs. I can still remember the day when went to see Marianas Trench in concert and sang along as they played this tragic ballad. Then when you mentioned you wanted me to edit with this song, this pairing immediately popped into my head! Its one that is do underrated and one that I do t see a lot of videos for this pairing so that why I decided to make it your birthday video. :)
Im gonna have to keep the description short for now since I need to leave soon, but I just wanted to say thank you for being practically a sister to me throughout these many years. A lot has changed since we first met nearly 6 years ago, editing with Sonic and swooning over our many fictional character crushes. Weve shared a lot in these past 6 years- many joys, too many heartbreaks, and even our own falling out, but if these past 6 years have taught us anything, its that true friendship can endure anything! 💕 We have seen each other succeed and seen each others struggles. Weve gushed over our favorite movies, tv shows, and celebrity crushes, but also consoled each other during times of sadness or loss and cheered each other up whenever we could. I take heart in knowing we will always have each others back and cheer each other on throughout life! ^_^ I cant wait to see you in just a few hours and celebrate your special day with you! ;)
The story:
Danny and Valerie start going out as a couple then one day on ghost patrol Valerie stumbles across Danny and Sam kissing (more Sam kissing Danny, but either way, NOT cool). When she confronts him about it, he tries to deny it and the two of them get into a major argument. After cooling off a bit, Danny finally admits to liking Sam, so as much as it pains her, Valerie decides to let him go. The two of them try to maintain of friendship, but its proves to be very challenging because Valerie is still not over Danny, even though hes seemed to move on and begun a relationship with Sam. But as Danny thinks back on his relationship with Valerie, he realizes he still has feelings for her to. But when he tries to tell her, she tries to find her feelings by telling him that shes happy for him and gives him a reassuring kiss on the cheek before walking away, leaving him feeling remorseful and unsure of where to go from here.")
