I Messed Up My Binder Test — And I Was Called Out!!!
Part 1.... youtube.com/watch?v=mIaR-yJFlkU&t=393s
Well… I messed up. 😂
In my first rib binder comparison, I set out to answer a simple question: Do binders actually make a difference on ribs?
The problem? I used WAY too much mustard and WAY too much mayo on the ribs. I knew I was probably going a little heavy while filming, but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Then the comments started rolling in… and you guys called me out!
And you know what? You were right.
If I'm going to test whether a binder makes a difference, I need to use a reasonable amount — not pile it on like I'm frosting a cake. 😂
So we're doing the test again.
This time I'm using:
A proper, light coat of mustard
A proper, light coat of mayo
A completely naked rib — NO BINDER
Everything else is kept as consistent as possible so we can actually see whether mustard, mayo, or no binder makes a difference in the final ribs.
Did I get the answer wrong the first time? Or does the binder really not matter?
Let's do this one the right way.
And to everyone who called me out on the first video… THANK YOU. You gave me the idea for this one! 😂
