I am my own worst enemy...lol 😂
Today was possibly the rainiest day of the year and it just so happened to also fall on the day of the babies' school Business Fair! I dropped them off at school for their second last day of term and signed myself up for baking 48 cupcakes for the school picnic the next day (don't ask!). On my way home, I stopped by Tesco's and bought some ingredients. Then it was time to rush back, quickly do some chores and then drive back to school for the Business Fair. Dre (5) was selling soaps and eco-friendly cleaning products he & his class had made themselves...Alessia (7) was selling a book she & her class wrote together. During prize-giving it unfortunately rained TORRENTIALLY and we were all soaked through! We drove home dripping wet and I got straight into my pyjamas. The kids all had a bath. I then got to work baking cupcakes as well as cooking dinner...by the end of the day I was exhausted! BUT I did have fun and it reminded me of how much I really missed baking and that it is something I love to do, I just don't get the time to do it very often anymore! See you on Thursday! 😊💖
