Do we have "I" and "me"s running around inside of, an inner consciousness congress, a psychological homunculus, angels and demons or something in between that sit at a "seat" of consciousness. Are we dynamic and insightful speakers sometimes and potted plants elsewhere in time and place? The idea of a dialogical inner world that is constantly changing and evolving is evocative and matches up with some great psychology and even mythology and alchemy.
