With the release of the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, I thought it would be fun to create a Wolverine-inspired piece of art from an old comic book cover. This project harkens back to my collage days as an illustration student. For this piece, I laser cut wood, then hand-painted and assembled the Wolverine figure. I’ll also share a fun story about an old artist friend who encouraged me as a young man.
