So there's this popular way of starting out in Blender by following Blender Guru's infamous donut tutorial series, in which you are naturally taught to model a donut. Having done so myself yesterday in preparation of hopefully creating decent original custom tracks one day, I realised that if I flattened the top of my creation and maybe added some water, I would end up with a technically playable Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track.
Low and behold, after some finicking and finagling I managed to not only import my very first custom model, but turn it into a Baby Park-esque custom track.
Now obviously there are loads of issues with this course, but it's basically nothing more than a meme anyways so the fact that it's as playable as it is is good enough for me.
