Can you really make Coca-Cola at home in just one afternoon?
I found a highly-rated homemade cola recipe and decided to put it to the test. Using citrus, spices, sugar and cola nuts, I attempted to recreate one of the world's most famous soft drinks from scratch. Along the way I compared still and fizzy versions, used a SodaStream to carbonate it, and put the finished result head-to-head with real Coca-Cola.
The result looked surprisingly convincing, but did it actually taste like the real thing?
