I had a mountain of laundry to do, so I drove out to Quinlan, Texas, hit the laundromat…and somehow turned an ordinary chore into a full-blown filmmaking exercise.
Action cameras inside the machines. POV shots. Top-down angles. Low angles. Detergent pours. Ridiculous amounts of sound design. Slow motion. Wide shots. And, naturally, classical music while folding clothes.
There really isn’t much of a story here. 😂 It’s just me seeing how cinematic and entertaining I could make something as painfully ordinary as doing laundry.
Sometimes the best part of making videos is finding a way to make the mundane interesting.
