In this video we embark on a 7 day journey on how to make this mini Australian river bank aquarium.
Materials you will need to buy:
1. 100% Silicone (I bought mine from Bunnings, you will use more than you think so always get extra, $9-$18 a tube. Don’t need anything to fancy, just general roof and gutter silicone will work.)
2. Expandable filler foam, around $15-$18 a can, also will use more than you think, but be sure to use sparingly as it expands to usually 3x the size when applied.)
3. styrofoam sheeting pieces, (I already had spares in my fish room so im not too sure where to source this material.)
Materials you will need to find in the wild:
Sand, Gravel.
Rocks and Stones.
Bog wood and Drift wood.
Australian native fish and shrimp.
Terrestrial plants and aquarium aquatic plants.
Fish tank, and chosen filtration method, heater - optional.
