What happens if Mario Kart becomes a Nuzlocke?

I start the challenge with 3 random racers. If I place below 5th in a race, the racer I’m using is permanently eliminated. But if I place Top 3, I get a choice: recruit a new racer to my team, or take points toward victory.

The goal is simple:
Reach 10 points before I lose every racer.

No retries. No second chances. Once a racer is gone, they’re gone for the rest of the run.
