Here's my Southern Barrens Lofi remix. I didn't play Cataclysm right at launch, and kind of avoided any spoilers until I had a chance to start playing the expansion's campaign. The Barrens was obviously iconic during vanilla, and being a kid who sucked at the game, most of my time was spent re-rolling horde characters and leveling thru this specific zone. The idea of the zone being changed was weird to me, and I guess it kind of still is. Thousand Needles was another zone that I had loved and was a little saddened they had changed it as well. Either way, I'm not honestly sure if there's new music in the Barrens now that it's changed. However, I'm like 90% sure some of the parts I used in this remix are from classic, which makes me smile. I made this one on my MPC2000 and SP404. I added a sample from an old soul record that I've been wanting to use for awhile, and some bass. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
