Here's my Silithus Lofi remix. I'm pretty sure I solo leveled my prot warrior 58-60 just killing random mobs in Silithus during vanilla. It was stupid, painful, and I'm not really sure why that's what I settled on. The zone looks really different in retail, and I've only got classic installed, so yea hopefully you're into DUST. This remix is VERY very jazzy, I recorded some smooth little piano riffs, and sampled some horns from an old vinyl I have. The drums are chopped up and rearranged from a vinyl too. The game song I sampled is titled "MUS_Silithus_GU03". Zones with music like Silithus are hard to do these lofi type remixes of. The music is pretty dark and ominous, and I personally have a hard time flipping that into something different for whatever reason. I ended up taking a piece of the song, 'EQing' out the high and mid range noises so that it was just a nice low end bass sound, and playing it on my keyboard like a midi instrument. Basically I took some sound, and turned it into a playable digital instrument. There's some ambience from the zone mixed in too, thought it sounded cool. Hope you guys like this one!
