I'm making a giant cassette tape to scale out of various species of wood, using nearly every tool in my shop including the CNC, laser cutter, vacuum press, and 3D printer. This woodworking project blends veneer work, inlay, and mixed media into one large-scale wall piece with a direct connection to my childhood. It'll be a centerpiece in my upcoming art show this June. Follow along as I experiment with different techniques and disciplines, from CAD design and digital fabrication to hand-finishing and assembly.
