Friday, March 28, 2025, brought another trip down to Virginia Beach and this time I planned to stop at US-9962 Doe Creek Wildlife Management Area @VirginiaDWR, near Onancock, Virginia, for my first Parks On The Air @ParksOnTheAir (POTA) activation while traveling south. Every time one goes out to do an activation, you learn something and this case was NO EXCEPTION to that. Watch the video to find out what happened!

ALL amateur radio operators world-wide need to know the DX CODE OF CONDUCT. It was meant for DX contacts, but it really applies to ALL aspects of amateur radio (DXing, contesting, POTA, SOTA, Field Day, special events, etc...). DON'T BE AN ALPHA HOTEL!
