My latest long video has compared immutable design with a traditional, mutable implementation of the same class.
The immutable class could not hold a mutable list but rather had to request an immutable list as its state.
Then, how was I supposed to instantiate this class?
Passing an empty immutable list costs a lot of typing.
This incredibly verbose call is hurting the readability.
But since C# 12 appeared, this cumbersome syntax is the past.
Starting with C# 12, we can use collection expressions.
One of the simplest collection expressions in existence is an empty collection.
The compiler will substitute the long version of this empty collection, and it will be the empty immutable list again.
But my custom code will contain none of that syntactic noise.
