A Japanese version of a Chinese song written during the Cultural Revolution. With lyrics written by a primary schooler, it has come to be one of the most well-known children's songs in China. In English-speaking spaces, the name is often mistranslated as "I Love Beijing Tiananmen". The song has an interesting history in Japan, in that sometimes a completely original third stanza would also be sung at the end:

「天安門に
昇る赤い太陽
我等導き
勝利へ進む」

"Over Tiananmen
Rises red sun,
Leading us
Marching to victory!"

Additionally, at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, an alternate set of lyrics was also used which invoked the Red Guards:

「僕等は慕う
北京の天安門
天安門に
太陽昇る

偉大な指導者
僕等の毛主席
紅小兵を導き
前へと進む

天安門に
昇る赤い太陽
僕等導き
勝利へ進む」

"We adore
Beijing's Tiananmen,
Over Tiananmen
The sun rises!

Great leader,
Our Chairman Mao
Leads the Red Guards
Marching forward!

Over Tiananmen
Rises a red sun,
Leading us
Marching to victory!"
