Sometimes, the paint simply refuses to follow the plan… and that’s when the magic can happen. ✨
In this video, I set out to create a Wanderlust Acrylic Pour, but my paint mixture reacted in a completely unexpected way. The beautiful lines and composition I were trying to create just wouldn’t cooperate!
Instead of fighting the paint, I decided to keep tilting the canvas and follow where the colors wanted to go. As the paint moved, the lines disappeared, the colors melted into one another, and something completely different began to emerge.
And in the end… I think the paint knew what it was doing all along. 💜💚🧡
This is one of those fluid art experiments that reminds me why I love acrylic pouring: you can try to control the process, but sometimes you just have to trust your intuition and let the paint do its thing.
For this pour, I used PVA glue as my pouring medium.
🎨 Colors used:
• Olive Green Deep
• Light Olive Green
• Permanent Blue Violet
• Ultramarine Violet Light
• Permanent Red Violet
• Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold
• Azo Yellow Medium
• Pearl White mixture
