Episode 3 of BACKROOMS WEEK is here as we continue the countdown to the release of the Backrooms movie hitting theaters May 29th.
Today we’re diving back into Lost Hope: Backrooms — a game I originally played back during its Early Access phase, but it has now officially fully released on Steam with even more levels, new content, updated progression systems, reworked areas, collectibles, improvements, and more. The game now features 20+ handcrafted Backrooms levels filled with puzzles, entities, hidden lore, and surreal liminal environments to explore. 
Lost Hope mixes classic liminal exploration with survival horror mechanics, story-driven progression, and some genuinely creepy atmosphere. From endless yellow hallways to massive abandoned spaces and nightmare fuel entities, this feels like a much bigger experience than when I first jumped into it during Early Access.
As a huge fan of liminal horror and the growing Backrooms genre, this entire series is my way of celebrating the upcoming Backrooms movie and getting fully immersed in the vibe leading up to release day.
