I didn’t retire early by chasing more income — I did it by refusing lifestyle creep and staying invested.
Every time my income increased, I kept living like I made far less and put the difference to work. Over time, that discipline compounded into choice: the choice not to work, not to feed the machine, and to let my money do what it was designed to do.
That choice also made it possible for me to retire early and retire abroad in Portugal — on my own terms.
