I gave Claude a folder containing messy LinkedIn post data and asked it to clean and combine everything inside Power BI.

With only two vague prompts, Claude created a working Power Query solution in less than an hour. The output looked correct at first, but the real test began when I checked the code behind it.

The query contained a hard-coded folder path, fixed column names, unnecessary steps, and a date conversion that quietly produced the wrong result. The model still refreshed, so the mistake could easily go unnoticed.

In this video, I review the complete solution, explain what Claude did well, show where the logic can fail, and rebuild the query using a shorter and more reliable approach.
