Hi mayucoder fam,
It's been a while. I missed y'all.
I left my job at Patreon and I wanted to talk about why. I've been wanting to say this for a while but couldn't figure out the right words or the right timing, and I think I'm finally ready to publish this video. The last couple of months has been a bit tough but I'm excited for what 2019 has in store. One door closes and another one opens!
Also you'll notice that this is the first time I'm talking about my experience in therapy. Therapy is one of the best things I've done for myself - it's made me feel more balanced and I've felt more equipped to handle the ups and downs of my thoughts and feelings. I'd like to talk about this more as our culture as a whole (in America, at least) is becoming more comfortable talking about mental health.
Lastly I'm really sorry that my camera is so out of focus - I guess I'm a bit out of practice 😬
