Most people spend years learning how to ride a bull. Taji had one weekend.
Gary Leffew has trained some of the best bull riders in the world and once trained the bulls for Johnny Knoxville in Jackass. He's 81 years old and still runs his ranch in Emory, Texas. For some reason, he agreed to take Taji on as a student.
Over one weekend, Gary pushed Taji past every mental barrier standing between him and a 1,500 lb animal that wants nothing more than to throw him off. Spoiler: the bull didn't care how much Taji practiced. The finale? A live ride at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth, the World's Largest Honky-Tonk, in front of a real rodeo crowd. No stunt double. No safety net. Just Taji, a bull, and eight seconds that felt like a lifetime.

About Amateur Hour
Taji is looking for purpose. One unconventional sport at a time. From fringe communities to underground competitions, he's diving headfirst into worlds most people would never dare enter. Where competition, connection, and chaos collide, maybe meaning isn't that far behind.
