I know my Jesus lives, My shepherd and my guide.
I bid farewell to anxious fears, my needs are all supplied.

To meadows green and fair, where rich abundance grows,
He leads me with His gentle hand and guards me from my foes.

Mus Furcht und Sorge von mir fliehn, mein Herz in Lieb erglühn.
(English) As long as my Jesus lives, and His power lifts me,
Fear and sorrow must flee from me, my heart glows in love.

Dear Shepherd, if I stray, my wand’ring feet restore
To Thy fair pastures guide my way and let me rove no more.

To Him my praise shall flow, my Saviour and my guide.
To Him my praise shall flow, for Jesus loves me this I know;
This thought is Paradise.

With pleasure, food, and safety blest; Beneficence divine!
