Zez Retro | I Interviewed a Hard Off Employee @ZezRetro | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 17 hours ago.
A few days ago I got the chance to briefly interview an employee from Hard Off and I asked the big questions
1. How do you determine what is junk?
2. How do you set the prices? Is there a central Hard Off database?
I got this chance as I was filming a segment for the Japanese TV show "Why Did You Come To Japan" on TV Tokyo. They randomly chose me to do a vox pop when I arrived at the airport. They seemed to be interested in the story of some weird Australian / Estonian who comes to Japan to search through as many Hard Off stores as he can. They followed me around for the day and we went to two stores together.
In the second store, the director suggested we talk to an employee and I knew my big opportunity to ask the "hard" (sorry) questions was here.
This is a walk and talk video as the TV crew filmed the interview and they probably want to use that on the show first.
