Oh my, how Made in Abyss has managed to capture my heart, and those of many. I can hardly describe the beauty of this anime, for the story, voice acting and animation are all incredible. However, often overlooked is the music. And what Made in Abyss does as well as my favourite anime, Your Lie in April, is the fantastic music that supports the visuals and the emotions of the characters, and not to forget, the terrifying beauty of the abyss.
When I heard this song in the final episode of Made in Abyss, season 2, The Golden City, I vividly researched where I could find it, and after a while I found the release date of the song, and the album of the season. And when it came out, I fell in love. I just had to cover it. The Icelandic language was a fun challenge! Dear, I hope I somewhat got it right.
This song means so much to me, it is one of my all-time favourites now.
I also spent quite a bit of work on the lyrical music video for it! In order, I used several shots from Made in Abyss I thought would be fitting. Please let me know what you think! ^-^
