My Friends and I Hiked Mount Shasta with NO TRAINING! This Mountain is actually also an Active Volcano! We had a ton of fun on the mountain and we are proud of how far we got, nearly to the summit at 14,179 feet! I hiked a 14,000 foot ACTIVE Volcano (Mount Shasta)!!!

Some things to note:
- We did this hike on little to no training, whereas most people train for months
- There was fresh snow, which meant we were constantly sinking in and it make the hike much harder
- We were dumb and did not wear sunscreen, I ended up with one of the worst sunburns I've ever had afterwards
- We also didn't realize we needed to wear sunglasses, and ended up with sunburns on our eyes as well. We had to call an ambulance for one of our friends the night after the hike because his was so bad he couldn't see temporarily (don't worry, he's recovered fine)

This hike is very fun, but WEAR SUNSCREEN AND SUNGLASSES!
