The team behind Tiger King is back with their latest docuseries, this time spotlighting exotic animal broker Tonia Haddix, who refers to herself as “the Dolly Parton of Chimps.” Tonia formed a deep bond with Tonka, a Hollywood chimpanzee who appeared in several films. However, things took a dramatic turn when an employee at her sanctuary contacted PETA over concerns about the living conditions. PETA quickly intervened, leading to a heated legal battle to have the animals removed. Today, Tonia is here to share her side of the story and what went down.
