Can GoodReads be trusted? I have read 700 books since 2017 and these are the best 20 fiction books according to GoodReads. The best books according to GoodReads may not align with my favorite books of all time, but that will really help us determine if GoodReads ratings are a good representation of a GOOD book.

The criteria for this list are:
1. Only fiction, non-fiction is a different kind of review and GoodReads ranks a LOT of them super high!
2. Only the first book in a series is mentioned, no sequels
3. The book must have over 5,000 ratings
