I send you pictures of the most amazing trees and reveal my total absence of forest expertise as I escape the grim present by walking into the past. A walk in the park that takes me back to the founding of Seattle and beyond. Exploring Kirkland's Big Finn Hill Park and O. O.Denny Park.
(And yes, I know about the gloves.)
NOTE: Big Finn Hill Park is currently closed (along with all King County Parks) because of the COVID-19 pandemic. O.O.Denny Park, maintained by the City of Kirkland remains open—provided visitors observe social distancing.
