For Ludum Dare 52, a special gamejam that happens 3 times a year, I made Crop++. The jam's theme was harvest, so my game naturally became a tiny farming game. Think Stardew Valley, but super tiny, and without any of the cool mechanics. Only farming. So maybe not like Stardew Valley at all. There's no mine, no combat, no magic, no npcs...just straight up farming.
Making the game wasn't too difficult. It was quite simple, with no technical difficulties whatsoever. I only had some game design issues, like the water tiles being completely pointless for a while.
Sometimes you just got to fail a bunch before you can see a way that works.
Thanks for watching!

After seeing the insanely popular videos by Tom Scott and MrBeast, where their thumbnails (or titles) changed based on the amount of views the video had, I wondered if that could be used to make a video game. So in this video, I turned my YouTube thumbnail into a rock, paper, scissors video game. Just comment !vote [your vote] in the comments, and come back when the thumbnail is updated.
