Can you learn Arabic in less than a year? Better yet, can you learn Arabic in a month or less?
Arabic has recently been added to Duolingo, so now is a perfect time to try out this amazing language with the Duolingo Arabic course. I will also be using other resources but I have actually found Duolingo Arabic course quite helpful so far. I thought that Arabic on Duolingo would be terrible but for learning how to read this challenging language, I've found it amazing.
In this language learning video, I discuss just how much of the difficult Arabic language someone could expect to learn in a month, and soon I will be back with a video in which I show how much Arabic I was able to learn in 3 weeks (since I learnt very little of Arabic in this first week).
I also discuss some of the difficulties with choosing between MSA (Modern Standard Arabic), Egyptain Arabic, Levantine, Maghrebi and other dialects of Arabic that exist.
I will not be taking a proper Arabic learning course but I will try to find out can you learn a language in a month? Language learning for adults is always a bit controversial, so this will add to that discussion. By the time you see this video, I have only 3 weeks to learn Arabic.
