Ernie is a boy who does track with his best friend adam and his friendly crush Naomi.
No matter how hard ernie tries to proceed a relationship, he just can't win and is only seen as her "best friend" and team mate on the track field..
Ernie soon discovers her "love interest" Hiroshi is a yandere with plans to kill adam and him both, and ernie trying to protect her, tries to explain this early..
He tries asking her out to somehow stop the process but is sadly rejected and in the end, is killed.
