Why I had to slow down…
In this video, I share the reasons why I had to slow down. I also share a more personal look into my life this summer of slowing down. I documented my day on the 8.8 Lion’s Gate Portal and some of my favorite mindfulness activities for slowing down like going in the sauna, making plant-based nut milk with my MioMat, making cacao and creating a personal cacao ceremony, journaling, meditating, listening to the rain, and doing breathwork while my brother plays the handpan drum. Slowing down can be so challenging and uncomfortable in a society that has conditioned us into believing that we need to move fast, work ourselves to the bone, and always be achieving to be worthy of anything. But I don’t really want to live that way anymore and I don’t think it’s actually true, it’s just an illusion. I am calling in more ease & flow in this next chapter and I am excited to create from this place.
