My AC-27 locked up, and the LED remained lit. I couldn't reboot it holding down the switch, and nothing I was trying helped.

The threat of desoldering the battery seems to have fixed it though.

Someday maybe a manufacturer will use an easily-replaceable cell instead of soldering the battery in place!
