This is the FIRST of two 48” x 48” fluid art commission pieces I created for a client — and this one took on a life of its own! 😳
For this commission, I was asked to create a much larger piece inspired by one of my previous paintings, using the same beautiful palette of deep blues, greens, teals, soft neutrals and metallic touches.
But if you know fluid art, you know there is absolutely NO recreating a pour.
Same colors.
Same inspiration.
Completely different result.
At 48” x 48”, this canvas gave the paint plenty of room to move and flow — and the incredible cells, sweeping movement and ocean-like depth that developed were better than I could have planned.
And here’s the fun part…
I created TWO completely different 48” x 48” paintings for this commission, and my clients get to choose which one becomes theirs!
This is OPTION #1.
Option #2 is coming next, and I cannot wait for you to see how different it is.
