I'm not gon' hold you, I know this wrap up is coming in all late, but like I said in my #Blackathon Announcement and TBR video, I prioritize work, so it gets so much of my time; a little too much. Also in February, I had a crisis of self esteem, so I didn't do much reading and I bought some books to sort this low self esteem business out.
I will say that reading and practicing The Artist's Way has been super helpful in getting me a better sense of positive self esteem.
Here are the books I read:
- We Are Not Broken by George M. Johnson
- B-Boy Blues by James Earl Hardy
- Fresh Water by Akweke Emezi
And these are the books I bought and hauled:
- Rock My Soul by bell hooks
- All About Love by bell hooks
- Pleasure Activism by adrienne maree brown
- Set Boundaries, Find Peace by Nedra Glover Tawwab
- The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron
